Chris Pratt says online impostor is hitting on female fans

Pratt describes the person behind the account as a potential predator, and warns anyone in contact with the imposter to block them immediately.

Chris Pratt took to social media Thursday night to warn fans that someone is pretending to be the Guardians of the Galaxy star to hit on female fans.

The actor posted a warning on his verified Facebook page.

"PERVY DUDE ALERT!!!" reads the post. "Somebody is trying to pretend to be me on Facebook (and maybe other social media platforms) apparently hitting on a lot of different female fans, trying to get their numbers and who knows what else."

Pratt said he finds the catfish behavior reprehensible and says if he finds out who it is, he will have their account shut down. The situation made the actor incredible angry, threatening whoever was behind the account, saying he "seriously would like to punch them right in the GD mouth."

Pratt went on to explain to fans to always check for the blue "verified" checkmark next to his name to make sure it is really him.

"If there is no checkmark by my name that person is an imposter. I'm sorry."

Pratt asked his followers to spread the word, especially to any young fans.

"Tell your siblings. Educate our young ones. It's probably mostly kids who would fall for this. Makes me sick."

According to the actor, the imposter account has solicited multiple female fans. He describes the person behind the account as a "potential predator," and warns anyone in contact with the imposter to block them immediately.

Pratt ended the post with a message to the imposter.

"If it's you doing it. I'm warning you. Stop right now or you will be very unhappy with the outcome. Go find Jesus. praying for you."
