Houlihan’s in Brentwood abruptly closes due to high rent

Nov. 11 was the last day of business for the restaurant.

BRENTWOOD, Mo. — Houlihan’s in Brentwood announced it has closed due to high rent and increased operating costs.

The restaurant shared a post on Facebook on Tuesday. ‘Making the decision to close a restaurant is always the last option.’ Nov. 11 was the last day of business for the restaurant.

According to the Facebook post, it is doing everything possible to minimize the impact to affected employees. It said it is working to place the employees at different Houlihan’s locations and it is reaching out to competitors in the area.

‘We appreciate your loyal patronage through the years. We hope to see you at our Creve Coeur location in the future!’

Houlihan’s in Creve Coeur is located at 1085 N. Mason Road.
