Fergie spelled out her feelings once again, this time in an apology letter for her widely criticized performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" Sunday at the NBA All-Star Game

Fergie spelled out her feelings once again, this time in an apology letter for her widely criticized performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” Sunday at the NBA All-Star Game.

TMZ reported that Fergie sent the gossip news organization a statement saying the following:

"I've always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA. I'm a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn't strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best."

Her performance drew numerous memes (both hilarious and mean) on social media,

She made them boys go “loco,” as she’d say.

But the Dutchess is taking it in stride, showing once again that “Big Girls Don’t Cry.”

So delicious.
