Antoine Dorsey, 23, and Antoinette Dorsey, 27, were charged with multiple felonies including robbery and armed criminal action in connection with the carjacking of a car salesman.

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Police said a test drive turned into a nightmare for a local car salesman when a brother and sister robbed him and then took off with the car.

On Wednesday, two siblings walked into Joe-K used car dealership on Manchester looking for a car, but minutes later someone pulled out a gun and the salesman almost lost his life.

Dustin Cornell has been working at Joe-K's used cars for more than a year. He's said he is still shaken up after he came face to face with a gun.

“It just seemed so normal you know what I mean. They didn't seem like they were on any type of shady things but apparently, they was,” Cornell said.

Cornell said the two customers came into the dealership and asked to test drive a Dodge Charger, but they didn’t have a license so he took them for a ride. That's when things turned violent.

Along the route, the two passengers asked to stop at their apartment to get their license so they could buy the car. Then, a third person showed up with a gun.

“We started driving, everything seemed normal but before I knew it, a dude in the back seat puts a gun to my head and tells me to get out," he said.

Police later identified two siblings, 23-year-old Antoine Dorsey and 27-year-old Antoinette Dorsey as the people responsible. Documents show Antoine jumped in the driver's seat and took off on eastbound Interstate 44 before crashing the car and flipping it upside down.

“I mean the questions they were asking it seemed like they really had the money and wanted to get the car,” Cornell said.

The manager at Joe-K, Mike Davis, said he’s thankfully Cornell was OK but incidents like this put everyone in danger.

“We do a great justice for the community here I mean I help people here all the time, but when they do this kind of stuff it's hurting the community,” Davis said.

Cornell, on the other hand, was just glad to get away unharmed.

“It just felt like he was really going to shoot me. I was just so happy to get away. Real happy,” Cornell said.

Those two people responsible are facing multiple felonies including robbery and armed criminal action. Police said that third person involved has not been found.
