ST. LOUIS – Police are looking for a man they said is a suspect in four separate sexual assault incidents in the Tower Grove South neighborhood.

According to incident reports from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, four different women have been attacked by a man since May 25.

In each incident, the victim described the man coming up behind her and grabbing her privates before he ran off. All four victims said they saw the man get into a silver- or champagne-colored SUV parked in a nearby alley.

Police have increased patrols in the area. They are asking anyone who observes suspicious activity to call the police.

A fifth incident occurred in the Benton Park neighborhood on June 10. A 50-year-old woman said a man grabbed her and threw her to the ground before running off. Police did not say they believe the same person was a suspect in this attack.

"People are a little on edge and it makes you feel a little uneasy when you're walking by yourself," said Tower Grove South resident Lauren Cabbes.
