ALTON, Ill. – A Godfrey, Illinois, man accused of attempted murder in a domestic dispute last month was taken into custody in Houston by U.S. Marshals Monday.
According to a press release from the Alton police department, 44-year-old Darnell S. Johnson was charged with attempted murder on Jan. 23, a day after they said he shot a woman in the face during a domestic dispute.
The police in Alton worked with the U.S. Marshals to take him into custody in Houston. His bond was set at $1 million.
