Kelly Clarkson made her debut as coach on season 14 of NBC’s four-time, Emmy Award-winning series “The Voice.”
Along with her new role, the acclaimed singer-songwriter also recently released her eighth highly-anticipated new album, “Meaning of Life.”
It has been 16 years since her first-ever “American Idol” triumph, and the Texas-born, Nashville-based artist is coming off a stint as an advisor on season 13.
Clarkson used her experience to mentor artists during the make-or-break knockouts. She capped off that initial stint on the show by debuting her new single “Medicine” on the season 13 finale that saw Chloe Kohanski become the sixth winner from coach Blake Shelton.
What did you think of Clarkson in her first appearance in the red chair during the season 14 premiere of “The Voice” which aired February 26?
Now that you’ve seen her in action, how do you think she is faring when compared to veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who have been with the show since the start as well as Alicia Keys who has returned for a third season? Clarkson has won three Grammy Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, four American Music Awards, and two Academy of Country Music Awards.
