ST. LOUIS — A large early morning fire broke out in a vacant, three-story brick home in north St. Louis.
Firefighters responded to the 4800 block of St. Louis Avenue around 3:30 a.m. The initial response was recorded on Periscope, which showed the third floor caving in as the flames engulfed the upper floors. That moment was captured shortly before the live stream ended.
The neighboring homes were at risk, but the flames remained under control by firefighters. There was no word on any injuries.
