Two people were injured in downtown St. Louis after a piece of heavy machinery collapsed Thursday afternoon.
The accident occurred on the 1300 block of 6th Street, where the boom-lift got stuck in a sinkhole. According to the St. Louis Fire Department two people were briefly trapped after the lift collapsed.
Their injuries are non-life threatening and they did not want to be taken to the hospital.
