2 St. Louis shooting victims get into accident on way to hospital

ST. LOUIS — A man and a woman who were shot in the Mark Twain neighborhood of north St. Louis got into an accident while driving to the hospital on Saturday, police said.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said a woman was shot twice in the buttocks and a man was shot in the head at about 7:30 p.m. While driving themselves to the hospital, they got into an accident at Kingshighway Boulevard and Natural Bridge Avenue.

Police said the man is in critical, stable condition. The woman's condition was not listed, but her vitals were stable.

No other information was available.
