ST. LOUIS — A 9-year-old boy was taken to the hospital after a near drowning at the hotel pool at the Lumiere Place Hotel Sunday evening.
Firefighters responded to a call for a possible drowning at the hotel just after 7 p.m. Captain Garon Mosby said the boy was at a pool party with family at the hotel when the incident happened. He was unconscious and needed CPR before being taken from the scene in an ambulance.
He was in critical condition at the hospital Sunday night.
