Arnold road rage suspect turns himself in

Heatherly turned himself in around 11:25 a.m. Friday to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.
Police said Scott Heatherly is the man shown tackling a woman and kicking her car in a Walgreens parking lot Friday. The 50-year-old Arnold resident was charged with second-degree assault as well as first- and second-degree property damage.

JEFFERSON CO., Mo. - The man seen in surveillance video tackling a woman to the ground in an Arnold drug store parking lot has turned himself in.

On Dec. 8, Scott Heatherly tackled a woman and kicked her car in a Walgreens parking lot. He’s been charged with second-degree assault and first-and-second degree property damage. The woman told police a man driving a pick-up truck followed her from Interstate 55 to the parking lot scolding her for throwing something out the window. The woman told 5 On Your Side she didn’t throw anything and he targeted the wrong driver.

Heatherly turned himself in around 11:25 a.m. Friday to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.
