ST. LOUIS – A boy was seriously injured after a fire at a home in the 7400 block of Tennessee Avenue Friday afternoon.
Authorities said the boy was home alone at the time of the fire and was hurt while trying to get out of the home.
The boy was taken to an area hospital in serious condition.
Officials said one of the firefighters was also taken to a hospital after complaining of chest pains.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
