Woman arrested for DWI after car crashes through St. Charles convenience store

ST CHARLES, Mo. — A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk after police said she drove her car through the front of an On The Run convenience store on Friday.

Nobody was hurt.

The St. Charles Police Department said it responded to 1401 South 5th Street in St. Charles at about 12:30 p.m. 

A 49-year-old woman was the only person in the car, and police arrested her on suspicion of a DWI.

A spokesperson for the store said it was closed for repairs as of Friday afternoon.
