Famed rapper's son discovers Arkansas 'good cop,' starts $50K GoFundMe goal

Officer Tommy Norman with the North Little Rock Police Department is no stranger to β€œgoing viral” on social media, but after a famous rap star’s son found him online, his reach may be even greater.

As of 4:15 p.m. Sunday, more than $26,000 had been raised.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) – Officer Tommy Norman with the North Little Rock Police Department is no stranger to “going viral” on social media, but after a famous rap star’s son found him online, his reach may be even greater.

Officer Norman has dedicated his career to #CommunityPolicing. Day-in, day-out, he patrols the North Little Rock community with an unconventional approach.

When rapper The Game’s son got online, searching for “good cops,” he found Officer Norman. The Game said he and his son were touched by his mission, and have started a GoFundMe to raise money for Officer Norman to “continue his mission strengthening the community.”

The GoFundMe description reads, “We will be purchasing and delivering items such as snacks, drinks, and toys for him to keep in his trunk, stocked for the kids and members of the community.”
