TEXICO, Ill. – Eighty miles from St. Louis down a two-lane road, a house tucked away in the woods is proof that you can be a successful videogame developer.

Michael Hicks, 25, has his dream job.

After a lifetime of playing video games, Hicks is designing them for X-Box and PlayStation.

In his latest game, "The Path of Motus," a little goblin guy named Motus tries to escape the forest. But first, he has to find the words to get past bullies.

Hicks wanted to dive into the psychology of what makes a bully the way that they are.

A self-taught developer, Hicks wants to pass on what he's learned.
