FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. – A 21-year-old man was found dead after a house fire in Fairview Heights, Illinois, early Wednesday morning.
According to Dennis Nichols, Deputy with the St. Clair County Coroner’s Officer, two people were inside the home on the 200 block of Orlando Court when the fire started. One person was able to escape but the resident of the home, 21-year-old Trevor Bridges, was found dead inside.

Nichols says an autopsy will be performed in the next few days.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
The State Fire Marshall is investigating.
