Man arrested after threatening coworkers at St. Louis County counselor's office

Charging documents said John Gourley, a man who worked in the St. Louis County counselor's office, told two of his co-workers he was going to "go postal and shoot up the place."

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A man was charged with making a terrorist threat after police said he threatened his co-workers last week.

Charging documents said John Gourley, a 62-year-old Olivette man who worked in the St. Louis County counselor's office, told two of his co-workers he was going to go to his car, get his gun and "go postal and shoot up the place" last Friday.

The office was evacuated and Gourley was arrested.

He was charged with third-degree making a terrorist threat.
