JENNINGS, Mo. – A 44-year-old man was found dead inside of a home after a fire on the 2000 block of Murvale between Jennings Station Road and Goodfellow early Tuesday morning.
According to Riverview Fire Chief Keith Goldstein, the fire is believed to have started in the kitchen just before 1:30 a.m. and much of the home was destroyed.

Authorities tell 5 On Your Side two people live inside the home. Kevin Chambers,44, was found dead inside the home, and the other occupant was at work at the time of the fire.
St. Louis County Police and the Bomb and Arson Squad are investigating. Authorities say the fire does not appear to be suspicious.
