COLLEGE STATION, Texas - It was a scary weekend for a boy in College Station who went missing Saturday night. But fortunately, his story has a happy ending.

Collin McChristy is a 7-year-old boy living with Autism. He was last seen at his home in the 1100-block of Dominik Dr. on the evening of Nov. 5.

Even though a large search party was out looking for him, he was discovered by fraternity members the following morning at the Pi Kappa Phi house less than a mile away.

"He walked right through this little walk way and sat right here," said fraternity member Clayton Chapin. "I guess he saw the Xbox and TV and guess he decided he wanted to hang out in this room."

Chapin soon noticed a picture of McChristy on Twitter and called police, who arrived within minutes.

McChristy was then reunited with his parents.

"Afterwards, I was driving towards Highway 6 and I guess I was passing the house where the child wandered from because all of the police officers were there, and when I strolled by, I saw the parents giving their son a hug in the front yard so it really made me feel great about it," said Chapin.

The College Station Police Department says McChristy was not harmed and thanks first responders and the fraternity for their efforts.
