OAKVILLE, Mo. – The only person inside an Oakville, Missouri, home when it caught fire Wednesday was able to make it out safely.
The Mehlville Fire Department and one other department responded to the home on the 3000 block of Bry Lynn Court where the fire started in the attic area of the back of the house.
The fire departments were able to put out the fire, but not before it burned the back wall to the point that the studs were exposed.
No one was injured in the fire.
