JEFFERSON COUNTY, Mo. – The owner of a pawn shop who shot and killed a man trying to rob his shop last week will not face charges.
The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney said there will not be charges filed against the pawn shop owner, but would not go into further detail.
Arnold Police Chief Robert Shockey said the incident happened last Thursday at Pawn King on Jeff Co Boulevard at around 4 p.m.
Shockey said the armed suspect came into the shop and attempted to rob the business when he was shot and killed. The owner was not hurt.
