A pedestrian was struck and killed while trying to cross Tesson Ferry in St. Louis County Thursday evening.
According to a press release from the St. Louis County Police Department, a young man was crossing north of the intersection of Tesson Ferry and Schuessler Road wearing all dark clothing when he was struck. He was taken to the hospital but died from his injuries.
Police said he was not crossing in a crosswalk or near an intersection. The driver stayed on scene and cooperated in the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
