Hollywood actress Rose McGowan turned herself into authorities in Virginia Tuesday on a drug charge stemming from her time at the DC's Women's March.

According to officials, McGowan turned herself in Tuesday afternoon to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. She was arrested, booked and released on $5,000 unsecured bond.

McGowan has been charged with with possession of a schedule I/II controlled substance.

She could face anywhere between one to 10 years behind bars or with the discretion of a jury, she could face one year with a $2,500 fine.

“Ms. McGowan appeared in Loudoun County, Virginia, on November 14, 2017, to accept service of the Airports Authority Police arrest warrant, and she was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond,” a spokesperson for the department said.

A warrant was issued for the actress' arrest for felony possession of a controlled substance.

The felony charge stems from a police investigation of personal belongings left behind on a United flight arriving at Washington Dulles International Airport on Jan. 20. Police say the items tested positive for cocaine. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained the warrant on Feb. 1.

McGowan has been one of the leading voices against sexual harassment in Hollywood, and tweeted earlier in October that she was raped by a man with the initials "HW."
