ID=24997911MIAMISBURG, OHIO (WXIA) – A rude note left behind on a handicapped woman's car has gone viral and placed a spotlight squarely on those who choose to ignore handicapped parking spot markings.

According to Dayton TV station WKEF, 26 year-old Ashley Brady struggled through the winter months to make it across her apartment complex's parking lot without falling on icy patches. She lost her leg in an accident last summer.

She requested a handicapped spot be established adjacent to the entrance to her building.

After the complex painted and posted the spot on March 12, last Thursday, she started using it. On Saturday, a neighbor without a handicapped license tag or sticker, had parked in the handicapped spot. Brady left a note behind explaining the difficulty she has and asking the driver not to park in the handicapped spot.

She told the Amputee Coalition of America, "I left her a note saying why I needed that spot, that I found it disrespectful, and if she did it again, she would be towed.

The letter the driver left behind for Brady was a shocking diatribe that referred to her as "cry baby one leg," and said, "If you want pity go to a one leg support group."

"Hey handicap! First, never place your hands on my car again! Second, honey you ain't the only one with "struggles." You want pity go to a one leg support group! You messed with the wrong one! I don't care what your note said shove it, but you touch my car again I will file a report, I am not playing! I let the office know the cry baby one leg touches my property I will cause trouble so go cry your struggles to someone who cares cause I'm walking away with both mine! –[Expletive]," the letter said.

Brady told WKEF that the neighbor had said to go cry to someone who cares.

"So I went to the internet and it turns out a lot of people care," Brady said.

WKEF says Brady has filed a complaint with the local police department. They said that as of Tuesday afternoon, management at the apartment complex had not decided what to do with regard to the incident.
