FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — The University of Arkansas' women's golf team finished third in this weekend's Southeastern Conference tournament played at Birmingham, Alabama.
Freshman Maria Fassi shot a final-round 69 to lead the Razorbacks. She tied for fifth overall, with a three-day score of 215, or one-under. Sophomore Alana Uriell also shot under par on Sunday and finished at 220, good for a tie for 13th.
Fassi had six birdies and three bogeys during her final round.
Alabama won the event at five-under, while Florida finished at even par. As a team, Arkansas finished 18-over after finishing the first day in eighth place.
