PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Tranquillo Barnetta's free kick in the 90th minute kissed off the crossbar and settled into the net to give Philadelphia a 2-1 home win over Orlando City on Friday, leapfrogging them to the top of the MLS Eastern Conference.

Centered just outside the box, Barnetta's right foot strike barely squeezed into the top right corner of the goal.

Goalkeeper Andre Blake saved the three points by blocking a point-blank blast from Adrian Winter in the first minute of stoppage time.

C.J. Sapong tapped in an Orlando defensive mistake in the second minute to put the Union up 1-0.

Orlando equalized in the closing minutes of the first half as Winter flicked the ball past a defender and then angled a left-foot shot past the keep and across the net into the bottom right corner of the net.
