Clinton, Obama postpone Wisconsin campaign appearance in wake of Fla. shooting

Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign announced Sunday that she was postponing an upcoming campaign appearance with President Obama in the wake of the mass shooting in Orlando.

Obama had been scheduled to attend a campaign rally with Clinton on Wednesday in Green Bay, Wis. Obama announced Thursday that he was endorsing Clinton to be his successor.

Obama beat Clinton in the 2008 Democratic presidential primary, but she campaigned for him in the general election against Republican Sen. John McCain. She went on to serve as Obama's secretary of State.

Sunday's shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando was the biggest mass shooting in U.S. history, with 50 people killed and 53 others wounded by a lone gunman armed with an assault rifle and a handgun. Both Obama and Clinton called it an act of terror and hate.
