Cosby accuser asks judge to void 2006 secrecy pact

The accuser in Bill Cosby's Pennsylvania sexual assault case is asking a Philadelphia judge to set aside the secrecy clause from the 2006 settlement on the grounds that both sides have charged the other with violating it.

The accuser in Bill Cosby's Pennsylvania sexual assault case is asking a Philadelphia judge to set aside the secrecy clause from the 2006 settlement on the grounds that both sides have charged the other with violating it.

Andrea Constand, her mother and lawyer Dolores Troiani have all been sued by Cosby over the matter; it will be up for discussion Friday in federal court. The comedian's legal team argue that they violated the secrecy agreement in their dealings with the prosecutors who reopened the criminal case in 2015.

Troiani argues Cosby is using the court system to try to intimidate witnesses.

The judge will also consider motions in Constand's defamation suit against former prosecutor Bruce Castor, who declined to charge Cosby when the case arose in 2005 and accused Constand of embellishing her story at the time.
