Sabres season tickets jumping by as much as $4 per game

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Buffalo Sabres season-ticket prices are going up by as much as $4 per game next season.

The increases were revealed in renewal notifications the team sent to season-ticket holders, according to a copy of the letter obtained by The Associated Press on Thursday. The priciest seats will now cost $116 per game, which is up from $112 this season. The cheapest seat price rose by $1 and will cost $29 per game.

The team declined to comment on the reasons behind the increase.

With a 30-34-10 record, the rebuilding Sabres have already bested their NHL-worst win totals from the past two seasons. Buffalo won 23 games last year, and 21 in 2013-14.

The Sabres' top ticket price has jumped from $88 since 2010-11, when Terry Pegula purchased the franchise.
