This week, Democrats will spend a total of about 28 hours during their national convention in Philadelphia trying to convince you to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Last week, the Republicans spent a total of about 16 hours during the party’s convention in Cleveland trying to convince you to vote for Donald Trump.

Are you swayed by the convention rhetoric, oratory and spectacle?

“Not really,” said Satbir Singh, who was hanging out in Liberty Park near Philadelphia. “I don't plan on voting. I mean it's kind of a crap shoot for this election, I guess.

“I heard Stephen Colbert is out here dressed as the guy from the Hunger Games, right?” Singh added.

Chuck Adams called the convention “a lot of BS.”

“This is the pep rally for the Democrats,” added John Scott. “And that's all great. But what's happened before and what's happens after is kind of what is important.”

Singh noted that he didn’t agree with either candidate.

“People that are polarized on either end,” he said. “There's nobody in the middle. I guess that's what we need.”
