A Missouri representative is one of dozens of lawmakers hoping to censure President Trump.
Missouri Democrat Lacy Clay joined a resolution to censure the president over comments made last week.
According to several people in an Oval Office meeting, the President used derogatory words to describe Haiti and African countries.
Clay joins the black caucus and 150 other Democratic co-sponsors. The resolution is unlikely to pass the Republican-controlled House.
The President has denied making those comments.
