Genell Reynolds is a digital audience producer at 5 On Your Side in St. Louis, Missouri.
In her role, Genell is focused on the KSDK audience by managing all touchpoints with our news consumers, such as through social media and our text line. She connects people with resources, identifies digital trends, and answers questions. She also reports original stories for our digital platforms.
She’s a native of St. Louis and has always loved poetry and the artistic expression of words. Growing up, she would give handwritten birthday cards to her loved ones and admire poetry by Maya Angelou and Robert Frost.
Before arriving at KSDK, Genell spent her time as a stay-at-home mom and worked in retail management. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Lindenwood University.
Genell comes from a family of first responders. She is honored to serve the same community her family has served for decades. She says her favorite part of her job is the people she serves.
In her off time, Genell can be found working on her personal goal of completing an unassisted chin-up. She loves to laugh, eat, and spend time with her family.
