When Mark was 8 years old, he started his work in journalism delivering newspapers. He used the money he earned to pay his way through college. After delivering the news to doorsteps, now he delivers the news to your living room, or wherever you watch KSDK on-the-go.
An Emmy Award-winning investigative journalist and political reporter, Mark has nearly a decade of experience in television newsrooms. Before he moved to St. Louis, The Washington Post recognized Mark’s work as the capitol bureau chief for WCIA, WMBD, WGN, KTVI, WHBF, and WTVO and named him one of the “outstanding politics reporters” to follow in Illinois. The part of his job he enjoys most is pressing politicians and people in power for answers about the issues that impact the public.
Mark is a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College and the Illinois Center for Broadcasting. Having grown up along Chicago’s South Shore in Hammond, Indiana, he is an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox, Bulls, Bears, and Blackhawks.
