As a senior digital desk producer, Sam urgently and aggressively covers breaking and developing stories, manages newsroom assignments and oversees the quality of 5 On Your Side digital content efforts across all platforms.
Sam loves the fast pace of the newsroom when news is being made, whether it is sports, local politics or anything in between.
He’s a graduate of Webster University, where he earned a degree in journalism. He interned at 5 On Your Side twice during college and has been a full-time member of the digital team since 2015. And to add credibility to the St. Louis-ness of this bio, Sam went to St. Mary’s High School in south St. Louis.
When he’s not at work, Sam’s either thinking up new Cardinals lineups or ways to improve his smoked chicken wing recipe.
