ST. LOUIS — Sydney Stallworth is a multi-skilled journalist and Sunday morning anchor at 5 On Your Side. She started in July 2021.
Sydney is from the Tampa, Florida, area and most recently worked at our sister station, WZDX in Huntsville, Alabama. She currently reports during the week and anchors Today in St. Louis on Sunday mornings.
She has a passion for reporting on mental health.
Sydney graduated from Howard University’s Cathy Hughes School of Communications with a degree in Journalism. She has a passion for hard-hitting stories, health pieces and shining a light on community organizations.
She has an enthusiasm for writing. Sydney says she loves to bring people the information they need in any way she can.
Sydney is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and the National Association of Black Journalists. She is an avid reader, loves to journal and travels whenever she can.
