ST. LOUIS – Two St. Louis restaurants are teaming up to raise money for a good cause.

Mission Taco Joint will collaborate with Balkan Treat Box to offer the Balkan Treat Taco. The taco is a special chicken döner-inspired taco, for a limited time.

It will be available at all St. Louis-area Mission Taco Joint locations beginning on April 24 throughout spring. The tacos will also be available at Balkan Treat Box’s restaurant in Webster Groves April 24, only.

Chef/Co-Owner Jason Tilford of Mission Taco Joint and Chef/Owner Loryn Nalic of Balkan Treat Box developed the taco together. It will be sold for $3.75 and a portion of sales will benefit the Gateway Area National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Proceeds from the Balkan Treat Tacos will be donated to the Gateway Area National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The organization has a personal tie for Chef Nalic’s family, and the Mission Taco Joint team encourages their taco collaborators to pick an organization near and dear to them as the beneficiary.
