ST. LOUIS — Clementine's Naughty & Nice Ice Cream is marking the 120th anniversary of the World's Fair in St. Louis with four limited-edition pints.
The flavor collection, which includes "Banana Split," "Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis," "Vegan Waffle Cone-a-Copia" and "Fairy Floss," was created in partnership with the Missouri History Museum's updated 1904 World's Fair Exhibit.
"Banana Split" is Clementine's take on the classic sundae, which debuted in 1904. The hand-piped pint marbles are a trio of cherry, milk chocolate and banana, according to a release from Clementine's.
"Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis" is a nod to the Missouri Corn Palace display at the World's Fair. The ice cream is a sweet corn base with clusters of corn flakes in each scoop. A portion of the proceeds from the flavor will be donated to the Missouri History Museum, according to a release from Clementine's.
"Vegan Waffle Cone-a-Copia" pays tribute to the waffle cone, which was popularized at the World's Fair. The vegan flavor is a caramel coconut ice cream featuring waffle cone nuggets, dark chocolate bark and a sprinkle of flake salt.
Fairy floss, now known as cotton candy, was introduced at the World's Fair. Clementine's "Fairy Floss" is a nod to the treat with the flavors of traditional cotton candy and a velvety malt finish.
The World's Fair-inspired pints are available online for a limited time starting July 1.
Try the flavors in person only on National Ice Cream Day, July 21, at one of Clementine's eight shop locations. The first 50 people in line at the ice cream parlors will get a free World's Fair ice cream collection T-shirt.
Clementine's will also be handing out 120 free scoops of "Meet Me in St. Louis, Louis" and free T-shirts beginning at 10 a.m. on National Ice Cream Day at the Missouri History Museum.
