BELLEVILLE, Ill. — The 10th Annual Wine & Food Festival will take place at Eckert's Country Store on March 7 and 8.
From noon to 6 p.m., visitors can listen to live music while they sample more than thirty wine and craft beer samples, with interactive events every half hour.
Chefs from Mission Taco Joint, Beast Craft BBQ, Juniper and others will demonstrate recipes on both days, and there will be four "Taste & See" demonstrations including beer and doughnut pairings with Strange Donuts and Schlafly, and meat and cheese board pairings.
During "Butcher's Corner" events on Saturday, Eckert’s Country Store butchers will show how to butcher and cook different cuts of meat.
Reserve Tasting ticket buyers will have access to Eckert’s reserve wine tastings of Beringer Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (2005), Byron Pinot Noir (2013) and more.
