EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. — A burger and sandwich joint will be opening its second location in the Metro East this week.
Hi-Pointe Drive-In will open at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, in Edwardsville, Illinois. It will be located at 6147 Trace Parkway Drive.
The 3,500-square-foot restaurant will mirror the same cool, edgy aesthetic seen at other Hi-Pointe locations with bold colors, neon lights and decorative pieces, a press release said. It will also have a back patio dining space, unique to the Edwardsville location.
Hi-Pointe Edwardsville will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“We’re excited to bring the Hi-Pointe Drive-in energy to Southern Illinois,” said co-owner Ben Hillman. “Edwardsville is a great hospitality hub with a strong sense of community, and we are excited to offer a gathering place for folks to hang out and enjoy a quality burger and get hi on Hi-Pointe."
On Thursday, Oct. 12, the restaurant will donate a portion of the grand opening sales to the Metro East Humane Society, a local animal shelter, the release said. The shelter will also bring adoptable pets to the location from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Hi-Pointe Edwardsville will feature the same rotating menu of "over-the-top" burgers and specials. Fan favorites including the brunch special "Belly Clarkson" and the "Strawberry Gooey Butter Cake" milkshake will be available.
