ST. LOUIS — A bar in Soulard is hosting a Mardi Gras themed pop-up bar.
Molly’s in Soulard announced it will be home to St. Louis’ only Mardi Gras themed pop-up. ‘Carnival: A Mardi Gras Pop-Up Concept.’ It will open on Jan. 22 and will end with a Fat Tuesday grand celebration on Feb. 25.
“For the last 28 years Molly’s has been ground-zero of the Soulard Mardi Gras Grand Parade. For the 4 weeks leading up to Fat Tuesday, Carnival will give our guests a more crafted and intimate, though no less spirited, venue to partake in the celebration.”
The ‘Twelve Cocktails of Carnival’ drink menu is set to include a shareable smoking goblet and a build your own bloody mary bar.
While the pop-up is part of the Molly’s complex, the actual address of the Carnival entrance is 808 Geyer Avenue. A spokesperson said to enter under the ‘Carnival’ sign hanging off the side of the building.
