ST. LOUIS — St. Louis police are investigating after a restaurant in the Southwest Garden neighborhood was broken into on Labor Day.
Officers responded to call for a burglary at Taco Circus Monday morning to find a side glass door shattered. The owner of Taco Circus told police an unknown man went into the restaurant and took a safe with checks and a DVR.
The restaurant has not opened yet.
Taco Circus made the best of the situation on social media,
‘Some people just can't wait to eat tacos! Don't worry folks! We are staying positive over here!’
It is believed the robbery occurred between 5:45 a.m. and 6:07 a.m.
