ST. LOUIS – Sugarfire Smoke House announced it’ll pay tribute to Anthony Bourdain with off-menu specials to benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
June 25 marks Anthony Bourdain’s birthday and to pay respect, Sugarfire said it will offer off-menu specials to benefit the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Sugarfire’s ‘Chicken Corn-fidential’ will pay homage to Bourdain’s book, ‘Kitchen Confidential’ on June 25. It will feature buttermilk fried chicken, bacon cream corn, pickled jalapeño, American cheese and crispy romaine lettuce for $11.99.
All Missouri and Illinois locations will offer a Muddy White Russian highlighting Zamir Peacemaker Vodka. Produced by Zamir Gotta, a dear friend who often appeared as Bourdain’s travel companion.
Fifty percent of the sales from all Chicken Corn-fidentials and Muddy White Russians will be donated to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), a St. Louis non-profit organization that helps those suffering from mental illness.
The specials will be available June 25 only, from 11 a.m. until sold out.
