WEBSTER GROVES, Mo. — A popular sports and bar grill in Webster Groves announced it would close after over 30 years.
Weber's Front Row announced it will close after 32 years at its Webster Groves location along Big Bend Boulevard. A closing date has not been announced but a Facebook post said it would close "in the coming months."
"Despite our best efforts, we were unable to come to an agreement on the purchase price for the Webster Groves building. Therefore, we regret to inform you that we will be closing our Webster Groves location in the coming months," the post said.
Weber's became a popular St. Louis sports bar for fans to watch Chiefs, Blues, Battlehawks, CITY SC and Cardinals games. The restaurant was also known as a gathering space for Iowa Hawkeye and Oklahoma Sooners fans.
"But this is not a goodbye; it's merely a transition," the post said.
The restaurant's two other locations in Affton (8713 Gravois Road) and Arnold (3930 Vogel Road) will remain open.
