ST. LOUIS — Christmas may be more than four months away, but the "Queen of Christmas" Mariah Carey has officially declared "it's time" to get into the holiday spirit.
Carey announced Friday she will celebrate the 30th anniversary of her iconic holiday album, "Merry Christmas," with a 20-city tour that includes a stop in St. Louis. Since its release in 1994, it has become one of the best-selling Christmas albums of all time.
The track "All I Want For Christmas is You" alone earns the superstar about $2.5 million in annual royalties, and that's on top of the $60 million she earned when the song was first released, according to Forbes.
Her "Christmas Time Tour" will make a stop at St. Louis' Enterprise Center on Friday, Nov. 29. The festive show will feature Carey's holiday hits, including "All I Want For Christmas is You," of course, and other fan-favorite songs.
When can I get tickets?
Tickets, which range from $55.95 to $295.95, go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. next Friday, Aug. 9 via Ticketmaster. VIP packages, which include access to a VIP lounge, an exclusive merch item and more, are also available.
Verizon customers can access a presale through Verizon Up beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, and ending at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8. Click here for more information.
