Many St. Louis-area shops are celebrating National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 21, with giveaways, events and even specialty flavors.

ST. LOUIS — I scream, you scream, we all scream for National Ice Cream Day!

Many St. Louis-area shops are celebrating National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 21, with giveaways, events and even specialty flavors.

Here's where to get your scoop:

City Scoops Creamery

City Scoops Creamery will feature its limited-time, made from scratch Gooey Butter Cake ice cream! It was created in a joint collaboration between the shop and Moussalli’s Prime.

The shop will also offer over 25 flavors of ice creams and dairy-free sorbets. 

Get your scoop at their Edwardsville, Highland or Troy, Illinois, locations!

Clementine’s Naughty and Nice Ice Cream and Missouri History Museum

The Missouri History Museum and Clementine’s have partnered to host a National Ice Cream Day special at the 1904 World’s Fair.

The first 120 visitors at the museum will receive a free scoop of Celmentine’s ice cream and 50 visitors will receive an exclusive National Ice Cream Day t-shirt.

The event will also feature ice cream-themed crafts, a play area and a storytime.

Eckert’s Farm

Eckert’s Farm in Belleville, Illinois, is celebrating by giving guests one free small Peach Sundae when purchasing another peach sundae, at a regular price. Get your scoop at Eckert’s Mr. E’s Cider Donut & Custard Shop on Sunday, July 21.

The shop is open from noon to 8 p.m.

Four Muddy Paws

Dogs can also celebrate National Ice Cream Day at Four Muddy Paws! Lafayette Square and Edwardsville locations will celebrate with a free Summertime Ice Cream Social.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. get a free pup cup sample and save 20% on ice cream and frozen treat boxes.

Ices Plain & Fancy

Ices Plain & Fancy will host its 10th Anniversary Street Party from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 21. The celebration will include live music, food trucks, balloon art, face painting, carnival games and a special Birthday Cake Ice Cream flavor!

Serendipity Ice Cream

The shop will be celebrating its 21st anniversary on National Ice Cream Day! From noon to 9 p.m., Serendipity will have hourly specials, a balloon twister, music and giveaways for customers.

Silver Spoon Ice Cream & Sweet

Silver Spoon Ice Cream & Sweet's Eureka and Wildwood locations will celebrate National Ice Cream Day!

Their Eureka location will open at 9 a.m. for a mid-year "Ice Cream Breakfast" which includes made-to-order donut sandwiches, fresh Belgian waffle sundaes and more! They will be open until 9 p.m. on Sunday. 

Their Wildwood location will be open from noon to 9 p.m. with donut sandwiches and shake special.

The Fountain on Locust and The Fountain on Delmar

Head over to The Fountain on Locust or their new location, The Fountain on Delmar, to celebrate National Ice Cream Day.  

Every ice cream purchase at either of the locations will come with a special coupon for a free one-scoop hot fudge sundae or the ice cream martini of the month on your next visit.
