R.I.S.E. Impact is set to host their 3rd Annual Toy & Coat Drive to bring holiday cheer to St. Louis families in need.

The events are in partnership with Saint Louis City Democratic Central Committee, Committeewoman Dr. Yolonda "Yogi" Yancie and others will bring joy to over 1,000 children in need across the St. Louis metro area. The events are sponsored by Walmart.

The organization's founder, Kneeshe R. Parkinson said, "As the holiday season nears, many families struggle to provide gifts for their children. The R.I.S.E. 3rd Annual Holiday Toy & Coat Drive seeks to alleviate some of this burden by ensuring that every child in St. Louis can experience the magic of the holiday season regardless of their circumstances. For many children, the toys they receive through this drive are the only gifts they will wrap during the holidays."

R.I.S.E. Impact was founded in St. Louis in 2022 and its founder has over two decades of helping individuals in the area with health, education, and emotional well-being.

This year's toy and coat drive will be held at multiple Walmart locations on the following dates:

  • Saturday, December 7: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Walmart on 3390 N Highway 67 in Florissant
  • Saturday and Sunday, December 14-15: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Walmart on 1202 S. Kirkwood Road in Kirkwood
