ST. LOUIS — Ring in the holiday season this year with a spectacular show from the multiplatinum rock group Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

To mark 20 years of its rock opera "The Lost Christmas Eve," TSO will be bringing the show to St. Louis' Enterprise Center on Wednesday, Dec. 18.

The show reimagines TSO's double-platinum album "The Lost Christmas Eve" and centers on a Scrooge-like businessman who traded love, family and joy for a life of solitude, according to a release from the group. A chance encounter leads to life-altering news: The infant son he abandoned decades ago is alive and caring for troubled newborns in a maternity ward. After seeking him out, the son forgives his long-lost father, and the pair begin a new life together.

Tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13 via Ticketmaster. A limited number of specialty-priced $49.99 tickets will be available for one week or while supplies last.

A portion of the show's proceeds will go toward Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital, which provides cancer care to kids, and nonprofit Duo Dogs, which trains and connects dogs with physical, social and emotional needs.
