ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — Kenny Chesney is coming back to St. Louis this summer, but he won't be playing at Busch Stadium like he has in the past.
Chesney's Sun Goes Down 2024 tour features dozens of stadium shows, but his show in St. Louis will be held at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre on June 13. In the press release announcing the tour stop, Chesney said the show will be "smaller and more intimate."
“There is nothing like being out on the lawn with your friends, or even under the pavilion, on a clear night hearing the music and just being in the moment," he said in the press release. "You can do some things in that environment you can’t at a stadium. It’s less production, less massive, but there’s a real sense of connection that is undeniable.”
It is the first time Chesney will perform in St. Louis since his 2022 show at Busch Stadium.
He will be joined on his St. Louis stop by Megan Moroney. Moroney was nominated for the Country Music Association's Best New Artist award in 2023 and won the CMT Music Award for Female Breakthrough Video of the Year for her song "Tennessee Orange".
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m. at KennyChesney.com.
