RIDGEDALE, Mo. — You can't always get what you want, but you're in luck if you were wishing The Rolling Stones would return to the Show Me State.
The legendary Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood of The Stones are on the road again with the "Stones Tour '24 Hackney Diamonds," and the band announced Thursday it would be adding a Missouri show as the final stop on the tour.
With more than 250 million albums sold worldwide, The Rolling Stones have been one of the most popular rock 'n roll bands for more than 60 years. The band's 2024 tour combines music from its extensive catalog of hits, such as "Start Me Up," "Gimme Shelter" and "Satisfaction," as well as material from its new album, "Hackney Diamonds," which was the band's first studio release since 2005.
The Stones will play at the Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri, on July 21.
Located a few miles from Branson, the brand-new outdoor music venue is set to open on May 25 with a concert from country singer Morgan Wallen.
Thunder Ridge Nature Arena was described as an "immersive outdoor musical postcard from Mother Nature" and the only venue on Earth completely dedicated to conservation, according to a release from Thunder Ridge.
